Dr Arthur Frost invokes religious intolerance against ancestor veneration
The South African Constitution guarantees the right to religious freedom and belief, and protects and encourages religious diversity, for all South Africans.
Dr Arthur Frost‘s recent Facebook call to action against the legal right of non-Christian South Africans to celebrate ancestral veneration amounts to incitement to discrimination, and is motivated by religious prejudice.

The African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) has announced its support for Frost’s call to action. Reject Ancestors Day on 8 May – Rev. Kenneth Meshoe MP. ACDP President.
Frost and Member of Parliament Kenneth Meshoe are not promoting their Christian faith; they are promoting religious intolerance.
The South African Pagan Rights Alliance calls on all South Africans to condemn this call to action as a rejection of the Constitutional values of freedom, dignity and equality.
