SAPRA supports the Civil Union Amendment Bill
In February 2008, the South African Pagan Rights Alliance was designated by the Department of Home Affairs as a religious organisation in terms of section 5 (1) and (2) of the Civil Union Act (Act 17 of 2006), and appoints its own religious marriage officers.
SAPRA has submitted comment in support of the proposed Civil Union Amendment Bill [B11-2018], to the Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Home Affairs (National Assembly), Mr PH Chauke, MP.
